Welcome to West Coast Colour where you, the discerning artist will find fabulous colour on luxurious fibres to use anyway you choose. We made the jump, closed our Knitopia Wools Co storefront and moved to a 20 acre farm just west of Salmon Arm. We are in Tappen Valley overlooking beautiful Shuswap Lake.
Alongside being a studio space for West Coast Colour Dye Works, the farm houses our 2 sheep flocks. We are fortunate to own CVM/Romendales– on North Americas list of endangered sheep breeds as well as our heritage Shropshires. We are discovering numerous vegetable gardens, fruit trees, manure piles and soon…….chickens!

Our happy customers…
I had to let you know how much I liked the last two batches of roving that I bought at the Fibre Festival in Campbell River. One was a red tweed roving that was a dream to spin. The second was a gorgeous blue that is also joy to spin. The roving was wonderful to spin. I may never prepare my own fibre again as West Coast Colour’s fibre was effortless to spin and a joy to work with. Thank you.Ria Gibson, Victoria
Beautiful colours – and colourfast, too! A pleasure to spin, and a pleasure to weave. I love West Coast Colours!
Where to begin? West Coast Fibres is definitely my HAPPY PLACE! These fibres and fleeces are the highest quality and most exquisitely beautiful colours I have ever seen and worked with. The fibres are truly a dream to play with and so easy and natural to spin! Lynne is an amazing and highly talented person who is generous with her sharing of knowledge and guidance in the wonderfully faceted world of spinning. The wisdom and experience that Lynne and her family have to offer is golden. This warm family operated shop is a joy to both shop and visit with everyone and always leave me feeling warm and inspired. If you ever spot this booth at your local fibre event RUN DON’T WALK to this lovely family operation!Danielle
